I have difficulty in reading microdilution plates (according CLSI M27) since it was hard to suspend after 24 or 48h of incubation. I tried horizontal shaker and also vortex but results were not well. What may be the reason and solutions?

I think the plates are read with a microtiter plate reader, and prior to reading they are agitated very fast. An alternative method might be to use a multichannel pipettor. If you'd like, I can have one of the people that does this daily comment.
